I likes

Pianos. Excellente. I actually like the drum pattern and the woods/rims. The tom rolls and flams are a nice touch, especially as they grow in intensity. Very nice, if a bit too short. It sounds like the track is just developing when it cuts off...I hear it build and expect a huge string symphony suddenly to jump in at that point, like the stage is mostly dark with the small front quintet playing this piece...and suddenly the lights flash on as the strings hit a loud stab and take off. I dunno, just the feeling this gives me for continuation after the stop.

May add a continuation though cuz what you say is something i'd like.. again just afraid i add to much

Autotune FTW!

On the J. Holiday beat, what?! Good one on that, great job, smooth recording, and top quality on this one. You and ya boy got that vibe on this shit. Keep it up and good luck on the tape.

That hook and libs are CRAZY!

Good mixdown, good recording, love the flow to this one. Very high quality and mainstream worthy for sure. Get that on a radio spot, now.

Sick beat

...sick adlibs, flow on point. This is what I've been waitin' for from you, seriously. I knew you had this in there when I heard the first track ya'll dropped way back. Mastering is near the sweet spot and doubles are great in most parts, though the second verse starts out a bit too close to center channel with the first two doubles. Keep up this writing and delivery style, mastering, everything really. Serious.

Cheers InG. That means a lot.
More shit will be coming.

Wink wink, say no more, say no more...

Good looks from all of you, lyricism doin' them in. Good quality, and all of your pieces had the individual vocal styles yet were mastered into the same quality, excellent quality control. Verses were tight all around, good job. And Merc, I hear what you're sayin'...*wink wink*. I doubt they caught what you said, though...so keep K nockin' 'em O ut. I'll hit ya'll up this week, been busy but I got some stuff in the pipeline.

Okay... I'm just being idiotically obvious atm. =D

Nice, love the intro

The intro is classic, the drums are on point. Lovin' the breakdown section too. Seriously good sampling piece. Give it a bit of changeup and expand on this sound with some layered piano and strings maybe, dunno really, it's simple like I like to leave my own sample jams.

MC-Q responds:

thanks man
Kingdom hearst has alot of epic stuff so ill have more tracks like this

So this is it...

This is what ya'll was workin' on while I was busy stopping and starting three aborted beats yesterday in Vent? The both of you suck with the most highly proportionate amount of suck which two people can collectively suck within. Good flip, good break for the drum pattern, overall good master. But then again, when are any of these things lacking in a Dream Team track? Get it over with already, drop a loop diggin' album and put this in everybody's ears.

Nah, we had this from like 2 weeks ago. =D

You've outdone yourself with this one...

Melodically on-point, you've got something going right here, now to finish it up a bit. The drums are weak, layer another deeper kick on that punchy one then compress them seperately and adjust the levels until they blend, layer and tweak the panning on the claps so they sit slightly off the center for a bit of flavor, and beef them up with some verb since the other instros are verb heavy. Mostly it sounds like you need some bass, a little bit of sweep or pad to smooth the sound a bit, really low volume just enough to layer it in. And then some funky bassline, and this is a moody track set for some east coast vibe. But all of my critique aside, this is the start of a really low-key jazz vibe track, very nice and it really hits the spot since I've been sampling jazz and soul for the last 2 weeks running so I'm into that mode. Keep it up and finish this one.

Beats hot

Mastering is good, well put together and good overall vibe. Don't concentrate on Lejin, that's what she wants out of you. She's an attention diva, lookin' for gucci bags and prada shoes out of any man that'll buy them for her. Keep it pimpin'.

Ouch

Ya killed him, man. I mean, much respect for steppin' up to Mercury, but Protege got punched out on the punch lines. And great choice of beat on that Nolia Clap, one of the last good songs out of Juve and UPT. Keep it pimpin' Merc.
