Track is burning
One of your best. Keep this sh*t up for sure. This has that old-school RZA sound, mechanical like a Bobby Digital track.

YEAH!
Thanks for the review.
It's warm...
But to make it hot, some of the synths need more power and presence. I like the themes, especially the synth that solos at 1:40 or so, but the other melody synth needs more power because it's weak. The bass is good, but some effects would really make it shine. Keep it up, though.
Peace
Thanks for the tips. This song is still in it's earliest stage, so we're still trying to figure out what we should with this song. Check out our other version of it and see what u think. Most people tend to like hte original version better. Thanks again!

Ouch
What exp-99 meant was cut up the sample and give it some motion with drops and chops. Unoriginal? Not by a long shot. It's rare to find anyone sampling alternative music for hip-hop. Repetitive? Last time I heard Nu-Metal or Hard Rock, it was the same 3 or 4 chord progressions...now that's repeitive. Don't sweat this. Learn from it.
Use instrumental motion to give it an edge. Put a fat pad in to delineate bars and give it progression. Use a strummed bass as an interchange when you drop the loop out of the background, then transition back to the loops for a big finale with a developing chop like the one you opened the track with.
Keep it up.
Peace
now this as a review help a lot. thanks for taken the time.
Respect
Total respect on the situation. Personally not my favorite beat (never been a 50 Cent fan), but you rode the beat fairly well. Keep it up.
Yeah it does suck alot.... Appreciate the review Ill make a note to drop by your page...
Fruityloops, most def
I dig this one. That beepmap makes the track. Especially with the drum drop-outs and chopped chords throughtout the track.
Thanks, man! I had fun with the bells.
Lovin' the strings
Anything with clean strings is an automatic classic in my book. The beat is on-point, and the melodic mid-level synth keeps the listener flowing with the song. Love the drop-outs on drums and instruments. Keep it up.
I love the strings, too. Thanks!
Wow...
This is what passes for freestyles on NG? Sorry, I been down with Screwed Up Click and Dopehouse Records for too long, I guess. This stuff isn't even local group level. More like schoolyard. It's barely over 1 minute, and it has a break. Nice try, but you got alot of work yet.
Your 49 on newgrounds popping shit on the internet from your decaying dusty old mother's basement?...Get a job you broke old bitch. Theres more to life than just this site you pathethic old fuck. You lost just move on with your life....whatevers left of it you old piece of shit HAHahaha! <<BANG>> KO!!!!
Absolutely top of the line
The R&B niche is well filled here at NG by your talent. And your take on this classic is outstanding. I agree, a 10 is too low for this one.
I thank you for your kindess
Definitive
Anything with Tenchu samples will always get me interested...but you definitely killed this track. The chopwork is great, the drums fit, and the long cymbal makes it powerful, which is what a good beat like this needs. This is a first single off of a debut disc if I ever heard one. Match this with a slamming vocal with alot of emotion and it could be the first mainstream track for an artist.
Jump off, indeed.
Check out Tha Jumpoff (Unfinished), it's my boy Medaphore going first verse, and then me on the 2nd one. Also, I'm glad you liked it ^.^
Classical piece done classically
The perfect balance. the first 10/10 I've found yet. Keep it up.
I'm honored that you find a lot of my songs to be 10/10s. Be easy bruh.
Go ahead, boy, come at me.
