Damn sweet, bro

This one was one I wanted to hit up back when it first hit, man, that T double D verse made me get amped up everytime it hit. This one is great, good verses all around, the hook is definitely got that listenability. You are working that Autotuner for real.

Good job, keep hittin' me with these remixes.

Peace

mseemercury responds:

ight bro

Oh man...

It made me go torrent all the Cowboy Bebop eps I didn't have, the movie, the OST's and some manga. I remember buying the original release back when it hit Cartoon Network, as well as Outlaw Star and Big O. Those were the days, when Cartoon Network had killer shows on 24/7. This was an excellent remix of Real Folk Blues, really on-point with the Seatbelts musical eclecticism. Good job to both of you.

wyldfyre1 responds:

glad you enjoyed it man.

Very nice

Good work on both of your parts. This one shows a maturation of your style as well as the fact that the two of you mesh very well on collab projects. Very nice, keep up the good work.

Peace

Druids-Warcry responds:

Oh man, thank you Ingenius! im glad you liked it. :P yeah i think it was one project that did really, really well!

I like it

Good backing beat and anime voiceover sampling. I just wish Bill's track was still up, I heard it was taken down for having copyrighted samples, dunno how true that is, but it's kinda f'ed up considering how many videogame samples are allowed in on NG. Oh well, good battle.

As for the battle, I think the two of you went totally different directions since his track had more of the Big O music vibe while yours had more of the vocal vibe.

Peace

DJ-Delinquent responds:

i agree with u on that whole heartedly

but think about it this way for a sec

we may have used diff styles, but is it Diff directions?

i dont realy think so u know...

we had a lay out

and the lay out was anime

now...

by me usin Vocals was basic creativity

he also had that option

but since i thot of it first and he din think of it (or thot of an equivalent)

he did not beat me in this round

but i beleve he did exeptionaly well

becuz he went in my own feild of Fire and attacked with a decent beat

but over all...

was a str8 beat down

thank u for ur Vote

me and Bill may fight again so look out for Bills next atack

Excellent quality and Adlibs

Puttin' Hip-Hop back into NG's veins. Great job to both of you, vicious spit and great sound. Monsters!

Peace

mseemercury responds:

they bout nothing lets get it thx man

Where the f* was I when this dropped?

And why have I not been paying enough attention to the AP? Seriously, this is super-nice, for sure. Great quality, good choice of beat, excellent verses from both of you. I like the pacing on it, excellent flow. Ya'll keep it pimpin', and sorry I'm late to the party.

Peace

HeLLsGaUrDiAn responds:

You were probably masturbating to spawn and bill giving eachother some head, I mean I was...wait, no >_> Anyways thanks a lot for the support man and I'll keep an eye out for your stuff when you start releasing some tracks, iight man stay up.

Nice flip

Very well done, good chops. Kanye doesn't really flip samples much if you notice, he usually just loops the individual parts of a track, pella and instrumental, in 3 or 4 pieces. Good job on putting your own style on it.

Peace

MC-Q responds:

yea ur right, he usualy jus loops it.
but thanks for your review mane.
And stay up cuz theres more to come.

Not sure about the decibel boost...

I have surround emulation via my X-Fi card, so I have to step down to a smaller system or push it through bargain comp speakers if I want to hear what others are complaining about. It sounds fine in these phones and on the 2.1 system I run through the card. Very quiet, but that was the intention. The moodiness of the piece comes through. My only real critique is the sudden cutoff on the ending rather than a slow fade-out, which is expected on a quiet track like this. Otherwise, it's minimalist classical, very well done and that's a compliment for sure because minimalist pieces don't have alot of sound thrown in to mask any mistakes or bad instruments. It takes a bit fo work to get simple pieces like this to sound warm. Keep it up.

Peace

S3C responds:

Thanks for the refreshing review!!!

I already gave the song a 10 dB boost after the guy below me said it was too quiet, looking at the waveform in an AE the peaks were extremely small hahaha....

hmm, i probably will fade the waterphone out, good idea!

I didnt really have any intention to make it minimalist, its just that my current keyboarding/pianoo skills prevent me from playing more complex shit, haha :P but i'm really glad you this one is good it gives me an inspiration to keep on practicing. Thanks a bunch for the kind words and crits man!

Psstttttttttttt...

I'll be back in full effect Monday morning. Got alot in the pipes and got some good shit goin' down after my wedding finished up. I'll have those pellas I been promisin', photos and some extra to dish out on Monday.

As for this, Zatoichi the Blind Masseuse couldn't have done it better himself. And kiddos...remember that Ventrillo isn't for 5/5's...that's what TeamChat and Skype is for. Seriously, I'll hit ya'll up ASAP, but Monday morning for me is looking like the earliest I'm gonna have.

Keep it pimpin'.

Peace

war-spawn responds:

I expect much from you IG-sama.

Quite nice

Not sure why this hasn't been heard by more people. This is the kind of experimental track that I'd think the AP would appreciate most of all. Very smooth tracking, very tight sounds and no clips. You have a mastery of the effects you use, regardless of whether they are presets or not. Frankly, the whole anti-preset movement is a little silly since the vast majority of musicians from the dawn of the Synthesizer age have used presets rather than trying to emulate the Moog Elite and devoting large chunks of their lives to learning what every Osc. and LFO does to a sound.

That being said, the drums and pads are the best parts of this track. I've never really been one for IDM and the glitchier music, but this one holds onto a classic musical approach without venturing so far away from thematic tones and musical composition that it sounds more like a playroom full of babies pounding on blocks. Very nice track, keep these coming.

Peace

LJCoffee responds:

Wow - thanks for all of that! I was planning on doing a whole series of these with a common theme or two... All I need now, s the time :)

Go ahead, boy, come at me.
